Calvary Chapel Lake Elsinore is simply a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, who gather together to worship Him.  Our desire is to know Him better, and to be conformed into His image by the teaching of His Word and by the power of His Holy Spirit.  We believe the only true basis for christian fellowship is God's love, through a relationship with His Son Jesus Christ, as revealed in His word, the Bible. 

We believe worship of God should be  ... in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.   John 4:23
therefore:
      We want to remain flexible so that the Holy Spirit may direct our worship.
      We want to emphasize the teaching of the Bible so that we may know God in truth, and allow Him to instruct us as to how He would be worshipped.
      We want to allow a great emphasis on music in our worship so that it would be inspirtational and we may   ...sing to Him a new song.  Psalm 33:3
      We want our worship to bear the fruit of God's love in our lives as a result of meeting with Him on His terms. 

We believe
The Scriptures, the Old and New Testaments to be the God breathed, verbally inspired, Word of God inerrant, and the supreme and final authority in faith and life.

We believe
The Godhead exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three Persons are one God having the same nature, and attributes.

We believe
The Lord Jesus Christ exists eternally as God, was born by means of the Virgin Birth, and died on the cross as the substitutionary atonement for sin. We believe in His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead after 3 days, His present ministry of intercession in heaven at the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to earth.

We believe
The Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead, convicts men of sin, regenerates, baptizes, indwells, seals, and sets apart believers to a holy life, and that He keeps, gifts, and empowers believers daily. We believe that He is the Teacher of the Word of God and the guide for our daily living.

We believe
Man was created innocent, but that when Adam fell through the sin of disobedience all men were corrupted in body, mind, and spirit. Therefore, all are in need of Salvation

We believe
Salvation is by grace, a free gift of God apart from works.  That it requires repentance ( turning from your way to God's way).  We believe Salvation is found only through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that all who receive Him are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and become the children of God. We also believe that true salvation will be manifested by a changed life.

We believe
in a pre-tribulation rapture of the Church, in the personal, visible, bodily pre millennial return of Jesus Christ to earth, in the bodily resurrection of the just to eternal life in the glory of His presence, and in the bodily resurrection of the unjust to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment in Hell.
